I don't about y'all, but I for one am gonna be a lot happier once this election has come and gone. It seems to me that the last four years has been nothing but a bad dream, and I am looking forward to awakening to a new era on November 3, 2004.

What about the polls? you may well ask. Isn't Mr. Bush "pulling away" from Senator Kerry?

My answer to ye of so little faith is: Fuck the poll numbers. They can be trusted about as much as the "truth" emanating from the Bush White House, which is essentially NOT AT ALL!

Someone once said, "There are LIES, damned LIES, and STATISTICS." And the poll numbers fall under all three categories.

Mr. Bush is gonna be going back to Crawford, a "one-termer" just like Poppy. And Crawford is where he will stay until the indictments for WAR CRIMES are handed down at The Hague. (Kudos to Mr. Annan for calling a spade a spade!)

So quit yer frettin' and have some faith in the American electorate. November 2, 2004 is destined to have the largest turnout for an election in this country's history, and Mr. Bush is gonna have his ass handed to him.

In the meantime, the debates oughta be good for some comedy relief.

And be sure to keep an eye on the Iraqi Insurgency, because I'm willing to betcha they have their own "October Surprise" planned for Mr. Bush et al.

And if, God forbid, we get attacked before the election, there'll be a mob with torches and pitchforks surrounding the White House demanding red meat!

The Bush Mis-administration is desperate beyond words at this point in time, so watch out for a ratchetting up of the so-called War on Terra. Potential targets for the Bushists include Iran and Syria, and they could very well utilize Israel as a surrogate to enlarge their war of choice before the coming election.

But I don't think anything they attempt is gonna work. They are just too inept and arrogant, and that is a deadly combination.

So keep the faith! Work the phone lines, contribute your money and time to Senator Kerry's campaign. And NEVER forget that GOOD always triumphs over EVIL.

America was once a great country, and will be again.

On a totally unrelated matter:

What the fuck are they thinking over at HBO????
I had the misfortune of tuning in last night to the new HBO show, "Family Bonds". The pitch for the suits was "It's COPS meets THE OSBOURNES". (Except The Osbournes were intelligent and funny, and this family of Bail Bonds Bounty Hunters is neither)

These so-called "Real People" are so grotesque as to make the characters on HBO's "Entourage" appealing. And THAT's saying a mouth full.

This is the same cable network who gave us The Sopranos. So what the fuck IS going on over there? Are the suits all smoking crack?
