I try to catch some FOX "News" programs every day ( for extremely short durations I assure you) to help inspire my writer's mind... Also 'cause it's best to know what the Enemy is up to (apologies to Sun Tsu and Monkey-Velli).

As I was munching down my Complimentary Breakfast at the Residence Inn in Del Mar this morning, the story issuing forth from the Blow-Dried Talking Heads on Fox was titled: THE NEW IRAQ.

What New Iraq was that? I wondered silently. Were they referring to the recent election? That thought made me laugh so hard I blew coffee through my nose!

Just because you "Have" an election doesn't necessarily mean you live in a democracy... (Witness America circa 2000/2004!)

Mr. Bush and his coterie of Moral Midgets continue to rant on about how wonderful things are going in Iraq, this despite all facts to the contrary.

The "insurgency" has grown bolder ever since the sham election. Just the other day Iraqis shot down a "Civilian" Helicopter, killing all aboard. On Sunday, three separate car bombs went off adding 20 more to the grim total.

A full two years after the invasion, electricity is intermittent, water is unsafe, and sewage runs in the street. Murder, robbery, kidnapping and rape are rampant. Security is non-existent. The health care system is near collapse.

....But all the oil fields are well protected.

....Even so, the "insurgents" have managed to slow Iraq's oil flow down to a trickle.... which really, really, REALLY pisses off Uncle Dick!

Anybody paying attention knows it is merely a matter of time before Iraq collapses into Civil War. Whether America stays in-Country permanently or not will make no difference whatsoever.

The writing is already on the walls.

...And apparently the administration doesn't give a flying fuck, because they'r already preparing 'Murkans for their next war of aggression. (FOX Channel Sunday night- IRAN'S SECRET NUKES)

Whenever Mr. Bush repeats that worn out sound bite, "Democracy is on the March", the thing that immediately pops into my head are those grainy black and white film reels from the 1930's; the ones with Hitler's Storm Troopers Goose-Stepping down the Avenue.

Democracy is on the March!
