Mission Accomplished!

 

Mr. Bush was right all along! Who'd of thunk it?

The Man brought down a major "Evil-Doer" in Saddam, and actually managed to bring Democracy and Freedom to the poor mistreated peoples of Eye-Raq.

Personally, I've never been so proud!

And what was the Iraqi people's first official act of Freedom?

Why, to install ISLAMIC LAW as the basis for their government!

That's right, all you Red-State Bush-Fellaters out there, you heard me right. Iraq is now poised to become another ISLAMIC STATE.

And of course the meaning of this is most clear to the Iraqi women. FREEDOM really is just another word for nothing left to lose (Apologies to Janis).

If this is the "Noble Cause" of which Mr. Bush speaks of so dispassionately, then it should be obvious even to the most IQ-challenged among us why Mr. Bush won't meet with Ms. Sheehan.

It is because Mr. Bush's "Stay The Course" rhetoric is completely INDEFENSIBLE.

How long will it be before America wakes up and realizes what the Bushists have unleashed upon the planet?

$300 BILLION and counting. Nearly 1900 American kids KIA. Thousands more maimed, blinded, scarred for life. 30% of returning GI's have PTSD. Tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians, women and children killed. Thousands more seriously wounded. Depleted Uranium munitions will continue to sicken and kill for years to come. Fallujah, ABU GHRAIB, GUANTANAMO, PATRIOT ACTS.

Mr. Bush used the attacks of 9/11/01 as an excuse to invade and occupy Iraq. He told us Saddam had Weapons of Mass Destruction, but nobody, to this day, has found any such weapons. Then he told us the mission was to bring Freedom and Democracy to the region. The Freedom turned out to be the freedom to suffer and die, and the New Democratic Iraq will be an Islamic Theocracy.

...And the tragic part of all this is.... It didn't have to happen.

Iraq was a War of Choice.

And it has left America Economically and Morally Bankrupt.
