THIS ISN'T AMERICA

 

 

I've been workin' on Mrs. Bruin's Farm the last coupla weeks, and I haven't been very motivated in the Blogging Arena. At least part of the reason for my lack of writing motivation has to be blamed on what I call "Bad News Overload".

Just when I thought Mr. Bush's pitiful excuse for an Administration had reached the bottom (As opposed to Jeff Gannon's "Top"), the cocksuckers go and DROP THE BAR yet again!

Alberto Gonzales, Condie Rice, Michael Chertoff, John Negroponte, and now John-Fuckin' Bolton! Nothin' but Treasonous Toadies with Law Degrees and shady Iran-Contra Re-treads.

It just keeps on gettin' uglier.

....And then there's the FULL-FRONTAL ASSAULT on the American Middle-Class with the BANKRUPTCY BILL currently "under consideration" before Congress (READ: "In the bag"). This abomination of a bill is nothing more than BIG-TIME POLITICAL PORK from a grateful Mr. Bush to his pals over at MBNA; the same pals that contributed in excess of $36 Million to Mr. Bush's 2000 and 2004 campaigns.

Where the fat-ass douchebags at MBNA come out smellin' like rose, all those poor ignorant bastards who've been running up their Mastercard Bills with such excesses as FOOD and MEDICINE, once again, get fucked without the benefit of love or lubrication.

This isn't America.

.......And then there's this:

While toiling on Mrs. Bruin's Farm I was given occasion to hire a "street" worker. We live in the West San Fernando Valley (El Lay), and you can't throw a dead cat without hitting a gathering of these mustachioed muchachos.

Anywho, the kid I hired was a terrific worker (about a 1-in-5 longshot!) and he spoke passable English (about a 1-in-20 longshot). Over the course of a coupla hours working together, he told me his story.

....Efren was on the street looking for day-work becuase he had recently been caught driving without a license. Now I don't know if he was pulled over for speeding or expired tags, or what-the-fuck. I do know that what the authorities did to Efren was both EXCESSIVE and HEARTLESS. The cocksuckers confiscated Efren's work truck, ALONG WITH ALL HIS TOOLS!!!!!

The story deeply saddened me. Efren is 28 years old, married, and the father of two. He shouldn't have been operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. That's a fact. But confiscating his truck was a Draconian measure in and of itself. DEPRIVING the man his tools becuase of a traffic infraction is JUST PLAIN WRONG!!!!

....And like I said, This Isn't America.
