The Indictment (hopefully the first of many to come)

Scott Ritter knows of what he speaks.

The Plamegate Investigation is but one of many investigations currently underway looking at all-matters Bush. For those who've paid attention over the last several years, the criminality and shear evil of this administration is as plain as day. But now that Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald has fired his first volley, a great many formerly uninvolved, uninformed citizens are now awake and aware. NOW the real work begins!

Removing Cheney/Bush et al from office should be viewed only as the Beginning. Our next priority as a Nation should be pulling out of Iraq and making reparations to the Iraqis. This should begin immediately and coincide with a special Trans-Atlantic flight, removing Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney, Mr. Rumsfeld, Ms. Rice, Mr. Gonzales, Mr. Bolton, etc., to the Hague.

Reparations and a War Crimes Trial are called for under these circumstances. It is the only way to begin the healing process, and the restoration of this once-Great Nation's Soul.

The Beginning of the End?

Five Felonies charged in a Federal Indictments against I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby is just the beginning. Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald made it clear in his press conference these were serious charges, and that he wasn't quite finished with the investigation. I've a feeling Mr. Fitzgerald is applying an old-prosecutorial technique often referred to as the "Testicle Twist".

Scooter is charged with 5 felonies that could get him 30 years in Federal lockup. And I'm pretty sure Fitz has one or more charges ready to drop on Scooter whenever the urge strikes. Definitely time to play "Squeeze The Perp".

Will Scooter keep his lips locked figuring on a long trial with a whole lot of delays, followed by a pardon? Or will he succumb to the pressure Fitz is applying?

My guess is that Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald only showed the cards he had to show based on the expiration date of this particular Grand Jury.

There is a great deal of sub-text to the sub-text.
