Rumors and Propaganda 2?

Harriet Miers' nomination to the Supreme Court is in the tank. No surprise there. The obvious question now is which specific whack-job WILL Mr. Bush nominate?

My prediction for a very in-your-face nominee is none other than the infamous Alberto Gonzales. That seems like something Mr. Bush might do, no? Would tie in nicely with Plamegate about to crack wide. Yeah, old Alberto would make for an easy diversion. Then again, SP Fitz could call a halt to the entire affair. Just my two cents.

If Fitz has Cheney in the bag, as appears likely, the curtain is about to slam down on the entire Bush Administration. And it couldn't happen to nicer group of sociopaths (apologies to Charles Manson and Ted Bundy). The suspense is thick enough to cut with a machete.

I expect an interesting week ahead.
