is set to be "booked" sometime before a scheduled Friday
court appearance. Sweet!

Gotta love it when
mid-level guys caught up in the net roll over on the Bosses. Good
for them, I say. Why should they fall on their swords for such a
despicable group of thugs? The Bushies don't deserve loyalty. They
never did. They've always been in it for themselves. Governing isn't
what they're about. No, they're about Greed, Avarice, and Cronyism.
Oh yeah, and hubris. That especially.
Too bad Mr. Bush
didn't have a conversation with his earthly Father before he arranged
to FUCK THE CIA.

Houston..... We have a problem!
Wilma is an Odd name
for a STORM
that has already been logged as the strongest hurricane on record
(yep, once again!). Let's hope Mr. Bush's response to the pending
disaster in Baby brother Jeb's state (of confusion?), is more timely
and effective than it was for the people of Louisiana after Katrina.
The big problem as
I see it is Wilma is the perfect diversion at the perfect time.
The Bushies need to throw some water (use a pun-go to jail) on Traitorgate,
and what could be luckier. What do y'all think the odds are the
opportunity will go unexploited?
Personally I'm concerned
that what occurs between now, and say, Halloween (the next hundred-or-so
hours are critical) will determine the course of American History
for the next thirty years. This, of course assuming We have that
much time left.

I received an email from a person whom I respect.
He took issue with a recent attempt at humor that depicted (in a
veiled sort of way) the subject of Prison Rape. My esteemed colleague
pointed out to me that Republicans are the ones who find Prison
Rape funny, and that us humorless Libruls shouldn't stoop to such
obvious and low-brow material.
And he was correct. Prison Rape isn't funny. There
are no forms of violence that are even remotely humorous. And that
includes the Rape of the Environment and Mother Earth, the evisceration
of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the defenestration of
the sick, the elderly, the poor, and soon, returning Vets.
And Torture isn't a laughing matter, either. The
mere fact that we are even in A DISCUSSION about who, when and how
to torture, is proof beyond all reasonable doubt that WE as a people
have lost our way.
So, in deference to my colleague, and to prove that
I am more civilized than I appear, I have removed the offending
Photoshopped Image.
