It was widely reported this weekend that Mr. Bush's Approval Rating has dropped to 44%. Talk about your Quickie Honeymoons!

So what does this mean?

Buyers Remorse? Or something more?

Is Mr Bush's Aprroval Rating slide tied to the admission that Saddam didn't have WMD? That there was never an "Imminent Threat"? And that virtually every word uttered by The Monkey King is, and was, pure unadulterated bullshit?

It has been said by many a pundit that "The stupidity of the American Electorate cannot be overstated." Having witnessed the outcome of the November 2004 Election, I cannot disagree with that assessment. Apparently 51% of Americans are either Stupid, Mean-Spirited, Deluded, or some combination of the above. And the one thing they can count on from their Fearless Leader is that they will get "The Government They Deserve."

But what about the rest of us? You know, the 49% who are so "out of (Goose) step" with the Bushists?

The simple answer is, unless we double our effort at Organizing the Opposition, we are FUCKED.

We absolutely MUST re-take Congress in 2006! And that work must commence immediately.

The Bushists have been very effective at eliminating the Checks and Balances that were the Hallmark of Democracy. Those Checks and Balances MUST be restored, or Democracy is TRULY DEAD.

I, for one, have no intention of leaving the country that my father fought and bled for!

There will be another Revolutionary (Civil) War coming soon to America. Bank on it! As the Economy tanks, and the chasm between the "Haves" and the "Have-Nots" grows wider, The NATIVES will get restless.

'Tis a shame Mr. Bush isn't a student of History. Someone in his MisAdministration really oughta tell him about the Marie Antoinette and The French Revolution, as well as the Fall of the Roman Empire.

We're heading fo the very same outcome.
